The IC3600EPSX1 is a voltage regulator circuit board created by General Electric. This circuit board is created to be used in the Mark I and Mark II line. The IC3600EPSX1 has four auxiliary ports in the front that are outlined in red plastic. Each port is labeled Volts +, Volts -, ADJ, and Current. The face of the IC3600EPSX1 has two openings on at the top and one at the bottom to secure the panel in place. The IC3600EPSX1 has a mixture of many different components to make this circuit board function. This circuit board is made up of resistors, Variable Resistors, various types of capacitors, diodes, and various types of transistors. The resistors coincide with a color chart to determine how much energy each one can restrict. The amount of energy to be restricted is predetermined and cannot be changed. Variable Resistors restrict energy and are able to be adjusted by a worker using a knob on the face of it. Capacitors come in many shapes and sizes, but all serve the same purpose. A capacitor generates an electrical field which then stores energy for the IC3600EPSX1 to utilize. Diodes control energy flow by allowing it to move in a single direction through it. The transistors come in different shapes and sizes and can be identified by having three connection points on the circuit board. The transistors are able to enhance or change electrical signals and electronic power. The IC3600EPSX1 has fifty-one metal male prongs that are used to electronically connect the IC3600EPSX1 in with the system.
