Micronet SP616R/SP624R 10/100Mbps Dual-Speed Switch provides 16/24 ports
10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX Ethernet switching ports. With 8K MAC entries, the
switch allows the highest level of performance for high speed, switched
workgroups and server farm access to satisfy heavy load demands. The Auto
Uplink (Auto MDI/MDI-X) of SP616R/SP624R provides all 16/24 ports with the
ability to uplink automatically
Industrial Standard Compatibility -Fully complies with IEEE802.3u, 100BASETX
and IEEE802.3, 10BASE-T standards. SP616R/SP624R has the ability to filter
local traffic, detects collision and error on each packet and thus maximizing
network performance.
The 10/ 100BASE-TX ports on the SP616R/SP624R features built-in "N-Way
Auto-Negotiation" function. With Auto-Negotiation function, the optimum
connection mode (Full-Duplex or Half-Duplex) will be selected, and also the
optimum connection speed (100Mbps or 10Mbps) will be automatically
determined.
Auto Uplink -Micronet SP616R/SP624R provides a new function for uplink. The
Auto Uplink (Auto MDI/MDI-X) function is designed on all 16/24 ports of
SP616R/SP624R. With Auto Uplink, user can connect to PC and cascade
SP616R/SP624R to another switch/hub by using either straight-through or crossover
cable. SP616R/SP624R will automatically detect the type of cable and link the
connection.
